The Activity Logs page provides a complete audit trail of all actions taken on assets and collections within your Bugcrowd organization. It allows you to track changes, monitor updates, and maintain accountability across your team.
Navigation
- Log in to your Bugcrowd organization.
- In the top navigation bar, click Assets.
- In the left-hand menu, select Activity logs.
This opens the Activity Logs page.
Page Overview
The Activity Logs page displays a chronological list of all recorded events related to assets and collections.
- Search bar – Search by asset name or collection name.
- Filters – Narrow results by Date and Time or Event.

Columns:
- Date and Time – When the action occurred.
- Resource – The asset or collection affected.
- Event – The action taken (e.g., Asset archived, Collection created).
- User – The user who performed the action.
Event Types
The following event types can be used as filters to help narrow your search results in the Activity Logs:
Asset Events
- Asset created: A new asset was manually added or discovered.
- Asset updated: General details of an asset were modified.
- Asset attributes updated: Specific fields such as description, type, or sensitivity were changed.
- Asset risk score updated: The system recalculated or updated the risk score.
- Asset status updated: Status changed (e.g., New, Approved, Deprecated).
- Asset tags updated: Tags were added or removed.
- Asset archived / un-archived: Asset was archived or restored.
- Asset assigned to / removed from Security Program: Program scope changes were made.
- Asset added to / removed from collection: The asset was grouped or ungrouped from a collection.
Collection Events
- Collection created: A new collection was created.
- Collection updated: Name or configuration of a collection was modified.
- Collection archived / un-archived: Collection was archived or restored.
- Collection assigned to / removed from Security Program: Collection applied or removed from a program.
Domain & Discovery Events
- Primary domain set / removed: Organizational primary domain was changed.
- Domain added: A new domain was added.
- Discovered by Bugcrowd EASM: Asset was automatically discovered by Bugcrowd.
Network & Service Events
- Port opened / closed: Changes to detected open ports.
- Service identified / updated: A new service was detected or details updated.
Using Filters
- Date and Time Range – Choose a start and end date (with optional times) to view logs for a specific period.
- Event Filter – Select one or multiple event types to focus only on the changes you care about (e.g., only Asset archived events).
This helps narrow down large activity histories to specific areas of interest.
Best Practices
- Regularly review logs to track asset lifecycle changes (e.g., archiving, status updates).
- Filter by event type to quickly locate specific actions like Primary domain changes or Program assignments.
- Use logs for troubleshooting who made a change, when it was made, and to which resource.
- Maintain accountability across your team by reviewing logs during audits or security reviews.
