Request a Response (RaR): Self-Service Request Withdrawal
We’ve updated Request a Response (RaR) to allow researchers to withdraw open requests directly from the submission page at any time. Withdrawing an active request immediately frees up an active account slot, cancels any review in progress, sends a confirmation email, and logs the withdrawal reason in the submission’s Activity feed. Withdrawn requests cannot be restored, raising new RaR places the request at the back of the RaR queue, and permanently counts toward the maximum 2-request limit per submission. Additionally, RaR limits are now enforced at the submission level across primary researchers and collaborators.
