Request a Response Enhancements

What’s New

We have made changes to the Request a Response (RaR) feature to enhance your experience, improve visibility, and support more efficient collaboration with customers.

1. Increased Quota

You can now have 2 open RaR’s at any given time (doubling the previous limit of 1). If you currently have an open RaR, you can now open a second request immediately.

2. Expanded Eligibility

You can now open a RaR for submissions in the Informational substate, in addition to all previously eligible substates.

3. Automatic Expiration

To keep submissions moving, any open RaR will now automatically expire after 10 business days if no response is provided by the party it was directed to.

  • When a request expires, your RaR quota is immediately returned, allowing you to open a new one.
  • The expiration event is recorded in the submission’s Activity Log, and you will receive an email notification when it occurs.

4. Improved Visibility and Tracking

We’ve added new indicators to help you manage your requests more effectively:

  • You can now see the number of remaining RaRs available in your quota.
  • For any active RaR, you will see the time remaining until it expires.
